We are in the U.S.!!! It is bittersweet to be home but we are definitely excited to see all of our family and friends! It was an amazing journey, and I guarantee your teen has a million stories and pictures to share. We will see you in Milwaukee in a few hours! Here are a few final pictures from the end of the trip.
Here is a message from Yaron from 10:40pm Israel time:
Dear Dan,
I Just wanted to let you know that the group made it through security and check in and they are going through passport control right now. They should be boarding shortly.
It has been an incredible experience and I enjoyed working with all of you during this experience.
Shavua Tov,
Yaron
Here are the arrival details that were emailed yesterday:
Dear Israel Trip Families,
As the teens are wrapping up their final Shabbat in Israel, I wanted to make sure that everyone had the details for the group’s flights home:
The teens are scheduled to depart on United #91 at 11:10pm local time (3:10pm CST) from Tel Aviv (TLV) to Newark (EWR)
Please plan on picking up your teen from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport when the flight arrives on Sunday at 11:56am. Mona or Mark will be present to greet the group at the airport. United flights typically arrive at terminal E in Milwaukee.
If the arrival time in Milwaukee deviates from the scheduled time by more than 1 hour, we will contact you via email. For the most up-to-date flight status, please go to www.united.com.
As always, we hope to return your teens home better versions of themselves. We will soon be getting you information on the group can share photos with each other. Please look for details in a future email.
Shabbat Shalom,
Dan
We are in Jerusalem!!! It is so exciting to begin the last leg of our trip in the old city. This morning we toured the city of David and walked through the Hezekia caves, a 45 minute trek in total darkness, walking through water and squeezing between the walls of the cave. Everyone did an amazing job! Today we will visit the Kotel (western wall) ad spend some time exploring the city. We will post more pictures after the second half of the day, but here is from our morning so far! (And also a snapshot from our group yoga/mediation session last night at the hotel!) enjoy!
Hi everyone! Here we are in Rosh Ha Nikra along the Mediterranean Sea! We are just finishing up an awesome tour of natural caves and will be heading to Givat HaViva to learn more about the Israeli borders and the Israeli palestinian conflict. We enjoyed a huge and delicious Druze meal last night and also learned about the Druze religion. Our day in Tzfat yesterday was also memorable; lots of shopping, great food and a lot of history! Enjoy the pictures below!
